What is Library Search?

Answer

Library Search is the library search engine/catalogue. It provides a ‘Google-like’ way of searching many sources at the same time. The process of finding information from both the physical and digital parts of the library has become so much simpler. From a single search box, you can discover material from all the following sources:

  • Print materials at UHI libraries
  • Newspaper articles
  • Full-text journal articles
  • ebooks
  • Conference proceedings and more.
  • Expand your search to Libraries Worldwide

The following video provides an overview.

Within the media player, the 'CC' button can be used to toggle closed captions on/off.
