Should I use Google Scholar for assignments and research?

Although we recommend using the university search tools such as Library Search, we understand that some students and staff prefer to use Google Scholar instead.
Our Google Scholar guide explains some of the pros and cons, and also demonstrates how to adjust your settings so that articles available in full-text at UHI are highlighted in your results list.
